Our family has a long history with Trinity. My husband Larry and I were married at Trinity in 1967, and our daughters Lezlie and Ginnie grew up in the loving, Christian environment of Trinity. We have many memories to cherish—Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Activities, Lezlie playing the role of Mary in the Living Nativity making her entrance riding on a live donkey escorted by her father on one side and a dear church friend on the other side, driving the church van to California for our daughter and other children attending UM summer camp, (people at the gas stations mistakenly thinking that we just had a very large family of twelve J), and the list goes on.

We cherish the memories of our daughters attending Trinity’s pre-school—Lezlie, as a three-year-old attending the afternoon session when I was a stay-at-home-Mom, and Ginnie, as a four-year-old attending all day when I was a teacher at a nearby high school. It was a comfort knowing they were receiving such loving support and education while they were in Trinity’s care. I loved seeing their happy faces singing the new song they had learned that day or showing their work for the day. Our daughters fondly remember attending Trinity’s pre-school.

Now, our daughter Lezlie has two children, and they love attending the two-year-old class at Trinity. Although the number of pre-schools in Las Vegas has greatly increased since our daughters were in pre-school, Lezlie and our son-in-law who live in Summerlin chose Trinity as the best school to enroll their children. We pick up our grandchildren three days a week from pre-school and see their happy faces. The teachers are wonderful.

I know the school from multiple perspectives. I speak on behalf of the school as a parent and as a grandparent, but I also know the school as an objective observer and overseer. When I joined the School Board in the year 2000, I did not have grandchildren and the prospect at that time was not promising for grandchildren. I was and continue to be very impressed with the educational and caring environment of our school.

Please contact our School Director Lane Norton or School Office Administrator Debbie Davis at 702-870-4749 for additional information. We look forward to your visiting our school.

We have what I consider the best childcare in town here on Trinity's campus. I have 3 grown children and when I needed childcare in the 70's, I tried several different childcare facilities in town unsuccessfully and finally came here with my youngest 2 children. My Nicole was 2 when she started here and Roger was 3. They always had excellent care and by dedicated Christian women and were very happy here. One day when I was rushing Roger out of the childcare after work to go home and fix supper, he asked if he could come to church with his friends and, of course, we said yea because we were raised in church. We had been busy raising our family and working Sundays, so had neglected this chance for relationship. We joined this church and our kids have grown up here, have many friends here who are for life and many happy memories of youth group, choir, mission trips and Living Nativity performances. Christ is in the center of out lives here at Trinity, and I hope that you will come here to visit us and find your home here.

Many children in Las Vegas have grown up in Trinity's Childcare, which is over 35 years old and began as Mom's Day Out.
One of the nice things about the childcare is that it is also a school and goes up to Kindergarten at this point. There is childcare available in the mornings at 7pm, and we have an Angel Care program that is provided by the church for parents who cannot pick their children up until 6pm. Grandpa Earl and Harriet and Miss Melissa serve as caregivers from 3:30-6PM to make it possible for parents to leave their children here when it is not possible for them to get off work and here before 6pm.

We hope to see you soon,  God Bless you today...
